The Challenge

When Unified began pursuing enterprise customers, security attestations like SOC 2 and HIPAA quickly became prerequisites for closing deals. The company partnered with a well-known infosec compliance provider, only to find themselves buried in manual work and complicated processes.

The SOC 2 attestation process dragged on for nearly a year, consuming valuable leadership time. The CEO and CTO found themselves consumed with managing the compliance process, sometimes writing documentation late into the night, rather than shipping product features. Unified has updated GDPR and, when a major prospect required HIPAA compliance, Unified delivered it in under two weeks, closing a deal that would have been lost months earlier.
